Commuter Benefits

Commuter benefits let you use pre-tax dollars to pay for parking or public transportation expenses while commuting to work. This benefit is provided through Health Equity, formerly known as WageWorks.

Who’s Eligible

All Conduent employees are eligible to enroll in commuter benefits.

How Commuter Benefits Work

  • Enroll any time, and make changes if you need to. You can enroll in this program any time during the year. You can change your commute options each month as your transportation needs change. For example, you can make changes to your contribution amount and/or the type of account (transit/vanpool or parking). If you enroll by the 10th day of the month, your transit pass/voucher will be effective the first of the month following 1 month for processing (a total elapsed time of approximately 2 months).

  • Decide how much to contribute. For 2023, the maximum contribution is $300 per month to your transit/vanpool account and up to $300 per month to your parking account. For 2024, the maximum contribution is $315 per month to your transit/vanpool account and up to $315 per month to your parking account

  • Know the rules — no refunds. According to IRS regulations, neither Conduent nor Health Equity can issue refunds for commuter deductions, even once your employment with Conduent ends.

Associates in New York City: Please attest that you were offered commuter benefits. Visit Learning@Conduent on ConduentConnect.com and search the catalog for course ECF101 to submit your attestation, if you have not already done so.
